As a first generation Cuban American, Chef and Owner Luis Ferro brings a taste of Havana to Indiana. He starts with recipes handed down from his Mother and Grandmother, then adds in his own creativity. The result is familiar ingredients with a unique flavor for a deliciously home cooked taste.

As a first generation Cuban American, I grew up on the food of Cuba. I learned at the feet of my Mother and Grandmother. As a kid, I began to help in the kitchen by peeling plantains. The bigger I got, the more responsibility I got, like pounding out the steak to eventually adding in the spices. I learned the recipes by cooking them as a family. Now, I'm bringing those recipes to Rochester along with some fun ideas to create a unique, delicious menu.
